Our 24cm copper frying pan possesses a durable cast iron handle that fits comfortably in the palm.  Falk has patented the process of permanently bonding the hygienic stainless steel lining to the solid copper body, a process that has been adopted by other quality copper cookware manufacturers. Copper produces an even distribution of heat, giving you more accurate regulation of temperature.  The low flared sides of this pan provide ideal conditions for frying foods with less likelihood of scorching at high heat. 

Conveniently sized to provide ample room for up to three fried eggs, the 24cm frying pan bridges the cookware gap between single serving pieces and family sized vessels. With all the features you've come to expect from Falk, you can count on superb performance.  And its easy on the eye as well.

Use tips

  • Suitable for both electric and gas hobs.
  • Oven safe to 280°C/535°F/Gas Mark 8.
  • Because of its superior conductivity, copper (and copper core) cookware rarely requires full heat on a hob, typically no more than 50-75% of full power.  Use a lower flame when cooking with gas.
  • We recommend seasoning pan interiors with a vegetable oil occasionally prior to frying and sautéing, and always use a small amount of oil when pre-heating.
  • Avoid pre-heating an empty saucepan and never allow this to boil dry.
  • When seasoning your food remember to heat the water to boiling point first, especially before adding salt.  This disperses the salt quickly and prevents pitting of the stainless steel lining.

Care tips

  • Always allow pots and pans to cool before cleaning.
  • Do not put Falk cookware in a mechanical dishwasher.
  • We do not recommend the use of products containing bleach for cleaning copper cookware.
  • Hand washing in warm soapy water is normally all that is required.  Always dry immediately after washing with a soft cloth.
  • Copper will develop a rich patina over time.  This will not affect cooking performance.
  • To keep copper pans looking like new, use a suitable polish for copper and a fine abrasive pad.
  • Apply a light coat of vegetable oil to cast iron handles from time to time to prevent rusting.

Excellent product When I found this I was a bit in two minds about paying £154 for a frying pan. After using it over 20 times, I now believe the manufacturer's claim that this will last a lifetime.

Extremely solid and well balanced. The base warms up nice and evenly on our electric hob and there are no "hot spots" to contend with.

The stainless steel finish cleans easily regardless of how much heat is used. I just fill the pan with soapy water and let it sit on the side for a while and any residue then comes off easily with a brush.

I am only giving it 4 stars as it can't be put in a dishwasher, otherwise it would be 5.

I love it Who would have thought that something as humble as a frying pan could invoke such excitement. Even cooking something as simple as a 3 egg omelette can leave one smiling.

Single Minded Set Review I bought this as part of the Single Minded set. Being Copper and Steel they are heavy - which is something that you just have to get used to, but wielding something heavy is always satisfying! I carried the pans back to Sawarak in Malaysia without any mishap and started using them there (its almost impossible to get anything of any quality here and if you do find something it will very expensive and not that great!). My most used piece I use this piece more than any of my others. It is a versatile size and performs well. My only complaint is that sometimes it is a bit shallower than I would like - this is mostly when I am reheating leftovers, and pile it a bit too high, though.

One result of using this more than my other pots is that it suffers the most wear and tear. The copper is quite discolored, and I unfortunately scratched the stainless lightly by cutting on it with a sharp knife (a stupid mistake in my early days of ownership). I could probably get rid of the discoloration with some toxic polishing compound, but don't mind it too much. (Barkeeper's friend did not do the trick entirely, though it makes a huge improvement).

What can I say? It's a heavy beast - if Tom got hit by Jerry with this he wouldn't get up. It fries fantastically once you season it (there's some blurb on the website). I hadn't read it so had a couple of cursing sessions, but now you would have to prize it from my stiff fingers.

Does steaks, small batches of meat and anything else very, very well.

cooking with rolls royce quality In the beginning I was sceptical on the price and the maintenance of copper cooking pans. I was still curious and finally bought this pan. I was really amazed by it! The heat exchange is great and quicker. The maintenance is quit good to do. The price is high(er) but you then also get quality in return which lasts a life time. If you calculate normal/cheap pans which you have the exchange every 2-3 years... I think Falk is certainly not more expensive. I am really happy with my pan and I then also quickly bought a second one. Periodically I want to exchange my old pans by copper and Falk is the way to go. Falk supports this by monthly putting a pan in reduction, so it's still affordable for everyone.

Another superb pan Superb medium sized frying pan. Great heat conduction from the thick copper, so no hot-spots and even heating. Stainless steel liner so much more robust than tin and will (presumably) last a long time. Good shape handle - rather flatter orientation than with the otherwise superb sauté pan where it goes up at a funny angle. Being very picky, it might be slightly nicer if there wasn't a slight crease between the flat bottom and the curved sides, but hey ho, still a five star item

Fabulous pan I had been looking for a good quality copper frying pan for some time. This pan surpassed expectations, as it not only has the advantages of copper: heat conduction, but is as easily kept clean as an INOX pan, thanks to the INOX toplayer on the inside. Because of the quality of the pan you need less heat for the same results as in other pans. Other than that, the looks are great, it is hanging proudly in my kitchen.

Single Minded Set Review I bought this as part of the Single Minded set. Being Copper and Steel they are heavy - which is something that you just have to get used to, but wielding something heavy is always satisfying! I carried the pans back to Sawarak in Malaysia without any mishap and started using them there (its almost impossible to get anything of any quality here and if you do find something it will very expensive and not that great!). I think the pans/pots are awesome. My wife loves to use them but does comment on the weight pointing out that if she hit me with one she would probably kill me! I pointed out that we had better tools for domestic violence!!!!!

But it does make cooking a more pleasurable and therapeutic experience when you are using high quality cookware and these are really good cookware pieces and well worth the added expense over cheaper items.

My most used piece I use this piece more than any of my others. It is a versatile size and performs well. My only complaint is that sometimes it is a bit shallower than I would like - this is mostly when I am reheating leftovers, and pile it a bit too high, though.

One result of using this more than my other pots is that it suffers the most wear and tear. The copper is quite discolored, and I unfortunately scratched the stainless lightly by cutting on it with a sharp knife (a stupid mistake in my early days of ownership). I could probably get rid of the discoloration with some toxic polishing compound, but don't mind it too much. (Barkeeper's friend did not do the trick entirely, though it makes a huge improvement).
